Why do I have to pay disbursements? What are they?
Disbursements are out-of-pocket costs that are separate from our service fee. They include two main things: court documents, which are official records that must be requested directly from the court — and the court charges a fee for providing them — and local police checks, which are required for every area where you have lived. Each local police service charges its own fee for this. These costs are not included in any of our service packages and must be paid by you directly. The total amount will vary depending on the number of charges on your record and the locations where you have lived.
Can I upgrade from the DIY Package to a full-service application later?
